Question New Truck Missing Passenger Door Threshold Pad?

I just got a new 2008 FX4 and noticed that the driver side door has a black, rubber threshold pad but the passenger side does not. Does anyone have a 2008 with the rubber threshold pad on the passenger side? Or is this a mis-build on my truck?

My 06 came with the scuff pad on the driver side and nothing on the passenger side.I bought some AVS StepGaurds. They cover the whole kick plate. The factory ones don't cover much area.

I just ordered a set off the internet. $30 w/free shipping. Thanks for the info! I have always hated how the paint gets scratched from getting in and out.

NASSTY - thanks for posting that picture - the StepGuards look great! Do they interfere with the factory door seals in any way?

Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking? I have been looking for something like this. The paint scratches so easy there.

I usually buy the clear tape,(same size like duct tape) and put it on all the doors. Looks real good and also protects from scuffs and scrapes, and if installed correctly it does not look like its there.
