tranny question
so would a tranny from a 92 e-150 with a 351 bolt up to an 86 straight six motor thanks

Yes, the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same. I think the '92 might be electronic, I forget when the trucks changed. It was either '92 or '93.

The 351 in the '92 should have an E4OD in it (although its possbile if its a "fleet" van that it has a C6). An '86 with a 4.9 is most likely a C6. the '86 will not have the electronics to drive the E4OD.
