I'm not networking! It's only a contest for fun. If you have to go out and tell people to vote for your truck so you can win this, then power to you! I think that's pretty sad and pathetic if you have to do that. I would rather be dead last I think. I prefer getting votes from people who think my truck should win. I'm competitive, but the honest way... So I hope those people who voted for my truck did it on the basis of my truck and not my good looks.

 

I think that in any circle of friends, there will be votes for a certain truck, just because of friendship alone.

The way I look at it is that this is just a contest for FUN and no big deal. It isn't like someone is going to win the big bucks or a trophy and world fame. Right?

If someone has gone out of their way to get added votes, then so be it. But, I agree with you, that the winner should win based on it's own qualities and characteristics, rather than friendship.

After all... we could have someone with a model T, sitting out in a field rusting to pieces be the winner, because all that guy's friends know what his plans for it are.

The merits of any photo contest, to me, should be which is the "best of show", simply because it is the nicest looking truck of the show, like most car & truck shows base their winners on.

All in all...no biggie if anyone wins OR loses. We be just having fun, showin' off our "babies".

In the long run though all that did was get more people to look at the poll - people will make up their own minds.

What amazes me is that Texas hasn't stormed the place!

I only wish the polls could be bigger, or some way found to include more pictures.

I could also wish for some kind of recognition or goodies to go out to the winners, I'm sure Ken and others have been watching this unfold - I can't make a decision like that I can only suggest. For all I know, something may be on the back burner and we are all in for a suprise. Maybe the sponsers will spot some of their stuff and want to get professional spreads done - who knows? But hey! Was it fun or wasn't it?

I just wish I could see all of them at first hand, knowing how cool FTE people are from the ones I have met myself.

Good job, Wolf,took a lot of time and effort on your part.And it gave us all a chance to see all these nice trucks without searching all the galleries on FTE. ( I do that sometimes anyway).
