Exclamation easy as pie

if you wann get in without damaging anything or having to spend any money, heres what you do. First unscrew your antenna, this is your tool to get in. Now go to any door on the truck and lift the handle. When you lift the handle look under it and theres a small rectangular hole where the hinge of the door handle retracts into. Simply insert the antenna into the hole(while holding the handle up) and push up the lock.....DONE. You may have to play with it for a while to get the antenna butted to the bottom of the lock, but its pretty easy, and can be done on many other vehicles. Hope this helps!!!

All the cops are going to the wedge which is called the Big Easy lockout tool. Basically a wedge of any kind. Rubber and plastic and wood doesn't mar the finish. Get some door wedges. The air one is just a bag slid under the glass and pumped up. They wedge a few inches down from the top of the door. Then use a hook shaped wire with a bend in it to get at the door latches or roll the window down, etc. A lot of the newer cars won't let a slimjim work on them anymore cause the mechanism is hidden and you can break some stuff in the door latches. The wedges don't seem to do any damage and are quicker. Big Easy have a how to video at their website.

I have a plain key with no plastic head on it made that I carry in my billfold. Then I have a spare radio key that will start it hidden on the inside. The plain key opens the door and the spare key starts it.

The "Big Easy lockout tool" is the 4 1/2 foot long rod.

There is also a "Little Easy".
Danny did you think that he was still standing there looking in the truck 18 months later?

I've gone through the rear slider before. You just have to pop it by hitting it and sliding it at the same time. I got it on the first try and was really surprised how easy it was. Once you get it open then you need someone skinny enough to fit through. I only made it half way so luckily I had some with that I could extend my reach with and hit the unlock button.

I'll remember that next time about the pop and slide. Me and a friend were in a gas station for 45 minutes trying to pry it back because that's what i've done before.

Well I just tried the pop and slide on my 2000 sc and no luck. Unless you have to pop it harder than I was inclined to. Had on hand applying slide pressure and one hand popping it.

Tried the wire through the door handle slot. Tried both slots. There is something just up above the slot that blocks the wire from going up. A wire will go sideways though.

I did this to my 99 Ranger and the pop-n-slide with the rear glass worked fine. No one was small enough to get thru the glass so we used a broom handle to pull the door latch and get in that way.

Found new method

Battery dead, key inside.
They don't make cost hangers like they used to, metal is to soft.
So I don't own a "Slim Jim" so i noticed that were the door handle enters the door there's a slot for lifting the handle, with the handle lifted I was able to use a long slender screwdriver and simply push the door lock button up and OPEN!
Sucks in a way, too easy, I now arm my kill switch everynight.
