New studs with power tuners

I was reading earlier threads on adding power programmers or tuners but don't install them unless you put new studs in now the question is if the head gaskets show no sign of leakage can you put in new studs or do you have to change the head gaskets Planning to install power tuner later on

On an 03 I would ABSOLUTLY install new head gaskets with the new arp head studs. Our 04 EX is at the dealer now for blown head gaskets and the truck does not have a tuner and they went out at 70,000 miles. and monday I'm bringing the studs down to the dealer so they can put them in with the new gaskets and see for myself that the heads are not warped.
