8x6.5 to 8.170mm

O.K. I've got a Dana front axle with 8X170mm wheels and a Sterling 10.25 rear with 8X6.5" wheels. How can I make them both match? Anyone know?

I'm hoping that a late 99' and up Sterling rear end hub will swap onto my 1986 sterling hub. But I can't tell, the part numbers are different because of the wheel lug spacing!

Also, didn't they go to the Sterling 10.50" in late 99' when they changed over to the 170mm wheel lug? Are the Sterling 10.25's and 10.50's much different on the out-board side, I'm hoping just the ring gear was the only change. Any help would be appreciated.
