Supercharging My 460?
Ok..I want to run a supercharger on my 1973 460..but it can't be too radical cause I'm running the stock bottom end and stock pistons. I have the crane powermax with .524/.519 and 216/228@50...the heads are 73' and have the smog bump grounded off. Where can I get one? What kind do I need? What size carb or carbs should I use? I've decided to go this route instead of a small shot of nitrous...plus..ya know it just looks cool. I'm aiming for those low 13's and high 12's in that 1/4 mile. Thanks in advance for any questions answered. :-)

there is verry little as far as afternmarket unless you have big $$$$. I suggest you pick up a couple of t-03 turbos, and run a blow through setup at around 6psi. Alnost all the parts you need are at local junkyards.

Hold on there! T-03s. Can you say torque? Those are way too small. It will be all torque and no HP. Go w/ some bigger turbos or I know paxton makes a blower for carb aplications and I think vortech is working on one. Don't quote me on it. There is a guy here on the web somewhere that is running a twin T-03 460 in a 50's merc. Just do a search on twin turbo 460. I'm sure you will find it. I think he is getting 700 ft-lbs and 270 hp.
