drivetrain swap?

so i see ts performance has a nice modded ford with the cummins engine, allison tranny and nv273 t/c. the thing i cant seem to find is where to look for the adapter plates/conversion kits.i found the adapter for the tranny-t/c. but i was leaning towards an atlas/advanced adapters t/c.anyone know if atlas has t/c that are electronic ESOF adaptable?? also how hard is the cummins swap?im not too sure i want to go cummins i think im gonna stay with the PSD.but i deffinately want an 07 allison tranny.anyone know where to look for a conversion kit? i mean you would need a adapter plate right? and i hear you have to get the ats copilot i think because the allison has its own comouter or something. anyone really knowledgeable on this subject? thnx jr

Just buy a BTS full billet tranny, and get better performance than the alli, also dont need to get a new computer. it will save you money in the long run.

If you want a Cummins, go to destroked.com. That's where you can get your kits.

Right now, there's not much out there for mating and Allison with the PSD. I think you can now get the adapter plates, but the electronics are still a bit goofy.

Besides, with all the money it takes for an Allison conversion, you could build a bulletproof 4r100 and still have money left over for big injectors, or whatever else you want. That one extra gear won't make a difference, at least not enough to be worth the price.

Actually they have 6 speeds. I dont know what year it started, but they got 6 now. I know I would sure be happy with 6 speeds in an automatic PSD. Sure you can buy a tough 4r100, but the ally is already rated for 650+ tq at the crank, out of the box. From what Ive read, once you jump 100 ft/lbs after that is when they need some mods. Sounds similar to the 4r100. After an extra 100 ft/lbs over factory rating is when they need work. 6 speed auto PSD would be mine, if I could afford it. A tough 4 speed is tough, but 6 gears, keeps you in the power, more of the time.
