Wal-Mart Batteries - Any experience?

Anyone here using Wal-Mart's batteries? I currently have Interstate 72 month batteries and they are about 70 months old and starting to get tired. Wal-Mart's are made by Exide, they have 3 year replacement and 9 year prorated warranty. They are only $62 each.

I have had problems with every one I have had. ALTHOUGH It seems they go bad before 3 years so I usually get a new battery every 2.5 to 3 years. If they are weak and it is getting close to 3 years I pull it out and drain it and keep it dead out side for awhile and put a spare in there for then. I then take it back and get a new one for free. It almost sounds unethical but the way I figure If it is dying I just help it along.

I still have the original Ford ones in my 2000 and I would buy those to replace the ones I have witch I am about to do....
I just do not trust anything from Wal-Mart or any of those chain auto part stores

I have used Wal-Mart batteries in my gas burners for several years and have never had a problem. I buy the yellow ones, the strongest they have for the vehicle they go in. When mine need replacing in my F350 it will go back with the Motocrafts like it came with. It is an 03 and still has the original batteries. Not bad so far.

H&%L, I forgot about those. I have never had one last a full season much less a full year. I go to NAPA for mine and still only get 2 years at best.
