Yes, if they are willing to program on that chip. Trust us on the SCT X-Cal; you'll bring yourself to madness and then break through the curve. At that point you'll be one of the few that really make your vehicle do what you want to do.

Do it right, do it once (perhaps twice if you try to run more than 14psi on stock rods, or if you don't read the instructions properly).

Hey i looked on SCTs web site and the oldest they go is 2004 V10s so im SOL on that one. Is there any other type of program/flash pack that i could try. Also my 10.2 AFR how bad is that, like how long can a moter last if its doing that at WOT, i ask this because we get a sand rail mag and in it they had picks of a piston out of an supercharged LS1 that was running to fat and it had what looked like chatter marks on the side.
thanks for all the help so far.

You may want to try checking with one of SCT's dealers for your truck. I know there is at least one supporting vendor here that is an SCT dealer. Diablo is another option too.

10.2 is too rich for a boosted/daily driven rig, but it may be set that rich to compensate for increased timing. I program mine to the tune of 12.0 and fall steadily to 11.6 right at the shift, on 93 pump gas. I wouldn't use a supercharged LS1, in a sand rail, to compare to street driven truck because of the differences in driving conditions alone...I'd say that a little tuning will definately help your motor though.

Hears an update, currently i am still running into the same problem, AFR wide open throttle 10.2 and right at around 5000 rpm then it should shift it leans completely out to 16, ( I can actually feel the motor loss power) at that point I instantly let off the gas.

I called KB and they said that they think it could be a vacuum leak showing up at high rpms, and told me to get a leak test done, called my tuner and he said it could be that i pinched at injector o ring when installing, i asked if it could really be that seeing that it worked great all summer. He told me it might be, so i sprayed break cleaner by all my injectors and listened for rpm change and nothing. So i called the dealership and asked about a smoke test and talked to the mechanic, he said to not even bother to bring it in because if I'm not throwing a code it wont be large enough for them to find, then he told me " the computers in the 03 are so advanced that if you dont have your gas cap tight it will throw a code" but then i didn't ask this because i just thought of it but why am i not throwing a when i run an AFR of 16, shouldn't the ECM pick that up even if it is running in open loop system when at WOT?

I dont think that it could be a vacuum leaks though, to lean out the whole system like that you would think that it would have to be large enough to affect how it performs at lower rpms, but if someone could let me know some symptoms to look for if i did have a vacuum leak that would be great.

I am lost i have no idea what it could be at this point, but i dont know weather i sould bring it to a local dealer ship and get the smoke test done, or if i should save 80 bucks and bring it down to my tuner and have him through it on the dyno and see if he cant figure it out. any advise would be appreciated.

My thoughts were that it could be
1) my trans not shifting and I'm hitting the rev limiter, because I'm wearing it out.
2) My fuel pump cant handle the extra voltage from the BAP and its wearing out
3) I have a blown head gasket, i did notice some cream ( or whatever you call it) on the oil fill cap, but i dont know if that's because of the changing weather.
4) I have no clue and it is something that is total small and I go bald at the young age of 20 because and I struggle to figure this out until the day i sell it or the day i try to race some DMAX and blow my moter because i just say "F'it i ain't gonna swallow my pride and lose to this oil burner, even though i can see it leaning out" ( that is the least likely i could never due that to my truck)

10.2 is real rich and probable not the best, but I am almost never that far into the throttle, i might hit 13s maybe 2 or 3 time a week with small amounts of boost. The only reason that i am running at WOT is to figure out if it is still leaning out, i just want to fix it and be done with it. I try not to abuse my truck, it is currently my biggest investment and takes more than enough beating at work or when going up to silver lake sand dunes.

sorry for the rant, but my friends are clueless when it comes to motors and you guys are about the only people can look at it from a different point of view and give advise, so thanks for all the help so far and if anything else happens ill post it
