Made the magazines again!!!
Well, we did it again. Death Row Diesel made the current Diesel World magazine. It's the March issue on pages 74 and 75. While it's not a Ford, it is a bad *** Dodge 12v that I sponsor. This is your favorite truck Tim...LOL. Some of you may remember this is the one I built the huge 7 foot long traction bars, and driveshaft loops for. Anyway, the driver is Chris Boerm, and I couldn't be more proud of him. He worked really hard to make the nationals and did very well. So have a look and tell me what you think. And with any luck, we'll be on the Speed channel "On the Edge" show this Saturday. They aired the drag racing last week, they should show the sled pulling this week. Should be on about 5:30pm eastern time. Wish us luck.

my buddy just bought a dodge that looks like his, umm minus the performance stuff. he picked up the new diesel world and was reading the magazine and showed me the article and didnt beleive me that i could get ahold of the guy...sort-of but anyway he wanted me to ask what he had to change to fit the 315's on the truck. i assume it has a lift on it since most 2500 dodges only fit 305\70's with that kind of clearance but if you could let me know what lift he is runing that would be great and also what a set of your custom ladder bars cost as the mod syndrome has already started with him and he just got the truck saturday and he wont stop begging me to hook chains to each other

That's the one where I have the pics of the driveshaft loops and bars I built. And there ain't no get ahold of him "sorta". I can put you in his back pocket. Chris is super cool and would be more than happy to talk to your friend or you directly about his set up. You can pm me your # and I'll pass it along, or you can check him out on his myspace page www.myspace.com/turbodiezel
As far as the bars.......screw buying some from me. Call me and I can tell you exactly how to make a set almost identical for a fraction of what I would charge you. Plus, I'm not a buisness, you know the rules.....Gotta come to the shop. I know you can weld, and there's really nothin' to building them. Just takes a little time.

I was Really thinking hard about it, and why dont they put in more driveshaft loops on all vehicles?
Its a great saftey feature. I sure hope nobody got hit by mine when it flew off. Tried to pogo my huge truck, i think it got threw into the median. i couldn't find it. But it sure woulda saved me a lot of money to have the loops in there.
I can think of a couple cheep ways to do it, especially if you have a CNC machine and a cutting torch.
