More wiring help

Still working on the wiring on my 68 half cab. The harness was complete besides the wires being cut for the speedo and the plug missing for the directional switch in the SC. I have hooked everything back up besides the pink resistor wire, and a large gauge black wire with yellow stripe. The diagrams I have are pretty fuzzy. Can anyone help me with where these go? Now the bigger problem. The battery, selinoid, voltage reg, coil, alt, starter are new as well as fuses and ing. switch. I am not getting power anywhere past the selinoid. Where should I start? could the selinoid or voltage reg bad out of the box cause this- or am I missing something- like the resistor wire to run this? I am not a mechanic, but have worked on Fords for many years, but have problems with understanding the basics of electricity. Can anyone give me a clue-

play400 is new and has a neutral reputation at this point.
If you want you can pm me your phone number and we can go thru the wiring. I have a 67 shop manual and have rewired numerous Broncos. Do you have and can you use a volt meter? Alan
