Knock Knock

I am getting a nice solid knock when I turn my steering wheel to the extrem left or right. This NEVER happend before I got a alignment. The knuckelhead who did the work said he they dont have the eccentrics for my truck and he had to do some grinding to get things in spec. Did this fool screw up my balljoints?

How's there????

Oh sorry I thought this was a knock knock joke!!!

Well they make cams for these trucks all the way up to near 3 degrees so either your axle is bent or the dude has no idea what he is doing with the machine and axle! I vote for the second! The ball joints should be fine unless he ground on those or they were getting loose before the alignment and since disturbing them they are more loose.

You could always get a second opinion from several reputable dealers and sue him for malpractice and get your money back plus the costs to repair what he did. Just a thought.

I go with Neal 97, get a second opinion and tell the whole story, it would be worth a few extra bucks well spent
