It's starting to look and feel like winter here now. I actually saw snow flying around and is below freezing and my blood is way to thin for this stuff. You just get downright spoiled with the good winter weather and now it has to go and do this to me. Just not right.
I know exactly what you mean, I live in Clinton. The day after Christmas people were wearing tshirts and shorts. It was way too cold yesterday and today, hopefully it'll warm back up.
Here I'm enjoying a nice balmy 19 degree day. Now starting tomorrow it is supposed to warm up and by monday hit the low 60s again(key word "supposed"). I'm looking forward to that. Until then, time to head back on out to the barn with the good ole ski mask.
Tex, I remember my days of Christmas in south Texas....a Charlie Brown mesquite tree with a couple of lights and a scraggly line of tinsel. Now I'm up here in WV and my grass is still green but at least the temps are dropping.
The good news is that you KNOW the cold won't last. Give it a day or two and you'll be back out in shorts and t's again!
LOL!!
Joe

Wherebouts in South Texas? My mom and sister are from Kingsville, and my dad is from Corpus, however, I had the misfortune of being born in yankeeland known as Plano(round Dallas).
22 right now, but it is supposed to get to 47 today and then tomorrow back into the 50s. That no cloud coverage really does make it cold. Nothing to hold in that heat.
Atleast it is warming up now from the singles we had up here over the last few days. Who is your employee that lives up Murphy Rd outside of East Town that has that nice 03-04 6.0? I have to say that truck has a beautiful turbo whistle.

It rained all day yesterday here but it wasn't very cold about mid 50s. Its supposed to hit the mid 60s to 70 today. If It does I'm loading up the 4 wheeler & going out & playing in the mud.

It is warming up here today, it would be nice to hit the lake bottom here since we have no lake. Going to be in the 60s here tomorrow thankfully, easier to make Asphalt in the 60s then the teens.
