Where to buy Holley 750 carb rebuild kit for 87 460 in e350?

Carb needs rebuild... when the engine sits for a while all the gas seeps out and i have to crank for a minute before it gets gas again.. I'm guessing its leeking out of the carb into the intake..

Plus its never been rebuilt before so I assume it needs to be done..

It has a holley carb on it, I believe its a 750. Autozone has a rebuild kit for $60 but I read that I should only use a holley rebuild kit.. where can I buy one?

Thanks!

PS.. It's for an 87 Class C RV... I'm the guy who needs to do header swap by pulling the engine.. haven't done this yet.. 3 bolts are broken off into the head. damn the stock warped manifolds.

When I change carburetors, the line from the pump and the carb float bowl fill almost instantly. Even on a double pumper. A stock, mechanical fuel pump does about 30-gallons a minute. The line from the fuel pump and the float bowl can't hold more than a few ounces, so the check valve on your fuel pump might be allowing the fuel to drain back into the tank. It takes a while for a dry pump to pull fuel from the tank (I don't know where your tank is located, but if at the back of an RV, that's quite a distance), prime itself and deliver to the carb. Just a thought.

I'm not aware of anything you can do with a dremel to improve performance on a 600cfm carb other than removing the choke mechanism.

Mechanical pumps are pumps on the engine block that deliver fuel correct?

I'm believing the fuel pumps I have are electrical as there are like 6 wires goign to the tanks.. all the way in the back of the RV.. I have to pull the rear tank off and drain it because its filled with water, what shoud I check for?

It definately takes a long time for the engine to get fuel.. seriousely 60 seconds of cranking and pumping the pedal.
