column shift is standard all models. The console floor shifter is optional on FX4 and Lariat. Well, you could say the floor shifter is standard on the Limited, Harley Davidson, and King Ranch models, but actually those 3 models are "optional" packages associated with the Lariat model.

The center console with shifter has been an option since 04 on the high end trucks. It is such a popular option that if you just search dealer lots chances are that it is all you will find, personally I feel it is better to order the truck and wait a few weeks to get exactly what you want than buy off the lots. If I am putting over 30 grand into purchasing a vehicle, I might as well get exactly what I want. + there is no extra cost for doing this.

Shifter

Yeah I didn't have to to order one and plus, the lines were already shut down I believe for the year. I sold my old truck and needed one pretty quick. I wish now I would've somehow waited or found one more to my liking with a column shift. Oh well, on to the new models. Hurry up F150 diesel!

Apparently, I'm not getting updates on postings...

Also, bad call on my part, it just seemed weird to have that pic in the F150 section...just looked different...

I agree. Love the column shift and the 40/20/40 seat. Seems like there's alot more room. There was nothing available when I ordered my 06 FX4, so I special ordered....worth the wait.
Cheers!
