I've worked as a home heating tech, coal and oil truck driver, auto and truck mechanic, auto bodyman, steel welder/fabricator, engine builder, Holley carb rebuilder, wrecker driver, and computer hardware tech. I have a hell of a sore back these days, though, so I'm looking at staying out of the rougher jobs.
I'm an engineer by education. I did that professionally for a few years but decided it wasn't something that I could do until retirement so I went into law enforcement. Now I'm a federal agent and get to use some of my science and engineering skills at work when I work the kind of cases that I'm most interested in. I also do my best to keep up on the current trends and what not in the engineering world.
