Question 90 f150 turbocharged

I got that 90 F-150 5spd. 302 V8 I want to put a turbo in. I have 3 ?'s.
1) What brand of turbo should I use? (Yes, I'm on a budget, and I could find one in the junkyard.)
2) What kind of boost can I run without major modifications?
3) What kind of fuel economy drop will I see? (I currently get 11mpg intown and 14 highway)

littleme13 has a good reputation on FTE.littleme13 has a good reputation on FTE.
on a budget junk yard all the way, most factory turbos are garrett. usually 5-6 psi is safe with only fuel and computer upgrades. if the tune is done right and turbo properly matched fuel milage doesnt have to suffer but a few mpg

hope this helps
