axle, tcase and ZF5 fluids

First off props to all of you. My diesel went down and everyone here ran to help. Thank you!

Got a noob question. What gear oil is everyone running in their difs.
Second noob question, what fluid goes in the ZF5 and transfer case. I don't have an owners manual and cant seem to find it on the web.

Thanks

Turner, I have always run Amsoil 75w 140. But my new truck will be running Royal purple because a close friend sells it.

For the tranny and transfer case, I again ran Amsoil ATF, but will soon be running the Royal Purple ATF.

Both are excellent. My only reason for switching is convienence of purchase. But I still recommend running the limited slip additive in the rear if you have a limited slip. I ran without it for a while with the Amsoil and it still chattered. Hope that helps.

Oh, yeah...the transfer case.. I'm not sure on that fluid because this is my first new 4x4. But I'm pretty sure someone will chime in.

"regular red" is dexron III or mercon.
then there is mercon V. either will work just fine in your tranny and transfer case.
i like the synthetic 75w140 in the rear, i use fords stuff, i run standard oils in the rest of the truck.
