How do you do that? Is it wedged between the seat and console?

Mine is in the door pocket in the left side door wrapped in a shop towel so it won`t rattle

I want my on the roof, but I'm worried about it being a missle in an accident. I've noticed that you have your's mounted sideways wlihntr. That might help a little. What screws are you guys using to mount them?

I have had a concelled permit for about 10 years now. I just like it ready by the console and it fits great there.

I got some maglite clips (as mentioned above, available at lowes) and mounted mine between the sill plate and the drivers seat. The thing I like about this is it doubles as a ice scraper holder! If you mount it about half the distance between the seat and the sill, a standard 24"ish cheap ice scraper from Wal-mart will fit nicely there. I have a reg cab, so it is nice to have it right on the floor instead of behind the seat. Had my mag mounted in the same spot on my 95 f150 and never once lost or knocked out the mag or ice scraper.

Door pocket works great for my 4-cell, just keep the button up or down to keep it from going dead, no rattle either.

I'll go a little further off topic. . .

My state gives everybody the right to carry concealed weapons. No permit required. We also have the highest number of gun dealers per capita.

You guys have fun registering for your permit with big brother.

your state does require a backround check to purchase a gun (state and NICS) so big brother has your info too

Whatever you do, or wherever you mount it. Please follow 1 common sense issue..... Make sure it's secured tightly! These flashlights will kill you or passengers if you get into an accident, and your light gets launched because it's in a cheap, plastic mount! Just my 2 cents.

My D cell maglight rests in drivers side door pocket. I also keep a pistol in that same door pocket. I shoot left handed, so access is easy. Mine does not have a charger. Eventually I'll get an LED that is rechargeable. I guess will put it on the floor next to the drivers side door.
