"telorvek"wiring harness
hey guys, i have noticed the brand "telorvek" is this a stand alone company or just a brand owned by the detail zone?, i'm still having trouble sourcing a ecu/harness at a fair price. ford motorsport assured me at sema they could help, but although i have sent two emails, they have not had the decency to reply, i geuss it's just to hard for them.

Hey Scrape, the Televork name originated from Ron Francis and was sold a few years ago. It's a good setup, but kind of pricey. I too would like to know a good EFI wiring harness that's afFORDable, as I'd like to use an EFI engine I have in another project I have. I was kind of confuesed by the Motorsports wiring harness's as they have one for around $250, and another one for around $650. I wonder what the difference is, and why so much more $$$??
Maybe someone else will chime in??

Gary , what type fuel-injection? speed-density or mass-air?? should not be a problem either way if you can just find a donor vehicle, check tech articles on this site ,cut and splice as nec.Detail zone / Ron Francis both offer them...bit salty IMO .I guess ease of installation carries some weight. Ford Motosports aint cheap either, might just be the busy Holiday Season, try:em in a week or two, see what happens...Good luck and Keep us posted ..Chris

hey chris, unfortunately we go very few 01 -03 cobra's imported into the country, so the prospect of finding one here is very slim, and it's my understanding thay were fitted with an anti theft system that would need to be modified.
what i would like to end up with is a engine setup like a new cat/cummins, just three wires that leave the harness to make it run.

Gary, i'm sure you'll work something out. After seeing your work on the weekend i can see you are not short of brain matter, hang in there and something will turn up.
Also don't forget to check out the ecu's from the holden camiras, don't know if it will work with the 4.6's but a lot of the rodders use them.
Scott.

I used a detail zone custom harness for my 50 dodge pickup with a 95 5.9 efi. I couldnot fine one any place else it cost $1000,and came with more wires than I could count.Never thought it would work.well followed the directions ,everything was marked real good, the truck started right up and ran perfect, sometimes you get what you pay for,I was very happy with detail zone.

I bought my harness from The Detail Zone. I am running a 4.6 and 4R70W transmission from a 1995 T-bird. I think it cost me $840 as well as I remember. I pulled the harness out of the T-bird hoping I could use it but after a couple days tracing wires that went everywhere except the engine I thought the price was a very good investment. This is in my 48 F-1. I posted some pictures earlier but could post them again. The chassis is complete and we are close to painting and putting cab, bed and front clip back together. Engine and transmission worked like they was supposed to. I think after 1995 you had security issues with the computer and it cost about $200 plus to send it off and get it reprogramed. We also had to relocate the coil packs because they hit the sides of the engine compartment.
