Foreign made bumpsides

Does anyone know where to find pictures of bumpsides that were made in foreign countries. I just happened to catch a youtube video from Brazil and it has an F350 dually with another type of grill and quad headlights. Reminds me of an s10 grill. Here is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swDaEQoV7Z0&NR=1 The truck is 25 seconds into the video. It would be unique to find a foreign made grill to put in my truck just to be different.

Those are cool! An 1984, 1989, and a 1991 model. Good to know that the old sheet metal was reproduced after Detroit was done with it. I knew some sheet metal presses went to Mexico, but I didn't know they went that far south. I can see some of the Ford Ranger went into those trucks, mainly the grills. My favorite was the red 89. It looks like a weird Bronco/Ranger combo. Plastic door panels and dash. I know Numberdummy would be pulling out his hair trying to figure out the part #s for those models! Thanks!

I went back and reviewed the pics. Noticed the 1992 is an F1000! I could drive the Autozoo parts man nuts! "I need a set of front disk pads for a 1992 F1000". HA! Also looks like they favor diesels in Brazil.

There was a recent post; his posting name from "Down Under" is greenfordisno1; he has a 69 model with steering on the opposite side; pretty cool. His post was on 18 December. got a couple pic's of his Bumpside.

Yes, I saw that post. Very unique and cool. If I was a rich man, I would fly there and bring one back. I would have to teach my left hand to shift and my left foot to operate the gas!

I would assume that one could order grill and body parts from South America to do a kick-*** job of customizing a North American bumpside?

True.... the left hand would have to learn how to shift but the pedals are setup the same... Our singer in our rock band is originally form Scotland and that question was bugging me when I was a kid for years until I had a chance to ask him. And apparently on that island you have to different licences. The basic one which is an automatic and a upgraded on for stick. If you have the manual licence then you can drive either one but its not the same for the automatic. What a interesting concept...

On another note...
The grille on those foreign models dont look as cool to me as the one thats bought and paid for in my garage

Every one of these trucks started out as a 1967 "bumpside." The inside of the doors and handle placement tells the tale.

The third truck has a new front end, and what appears to be fiberglass caps over the bed corners where the original taillamps went...the caps provide for new lamps.
The gauge cluster and other interior bits are updated.

That ugly Shove-it-or-leave-it egg crate grille looks just awful, as does the front end of the third truck. It looks like it was born on its nose!

Numberdummy, are you sure? Looks like 68-72 arm rests and door handles to me. Doesn't really matter, just checking that you aren't losing your mind. HA!
The best interior shots are of the 2nd and 4th truck.

1967: See any marker lights anywhere? I don't...not even on the hood. 1968 thru 1972 had marker lights on the side-front and rear, and under the taillamps at the back.

Smile bumpsides in brasil

bumpsides in brasil started in 1970, Sorry to who ever dosent agree, just a short caption from what i know, up till 56 ford of U.S.A. and ford of brasil was on the same page (with body styles), what we know as a 56 model was 56 to mid production 62 in brasil, mid production 62 to 69 in brasil looked like a 57 to 60 to us except for the different grilles & emblems they used. 1970 came the bumpside in brasil and used unchanged (body style wise) till 83, ( some earlier models having the Y blocks ) 84 till 90 still using bumpside with totally different grilles. and some body styles not even offered in the U.S. 1991 they got on the same page again as the U.S, so for 34 years there was some neat brasilian ford trucks made.

I know that...that's why there's no marker lights....1967 trucks sold in the US didn't have them either.
