Im amkin front radius arms or maybe a 4 link for the 4wd conversion on the crewcab. I called Mont Levine today. They are a local metal supplier and they had the same reaction as Joe. I was like seriously yall have been in the metal busines for decades and dont know what DOM is. Rod thanks for the heads up. I need someone local cause all i need is bout 20'. Id hate to see the shipping charge on a piece from Huntington to Bridgeport. I might check tomorrow at Rocket Chassis. They use it to make race car chassis but im afraid ill have a heart attack when he gives me a price.

I look at expense two ways.
Yes they tend to be a bit pricey, but it is always done right.
I would always rather pay a bit more for something that is right, than save a bit and get a soso product.
As far as just getting materials for a project, their steel prices are about in line with everyone else, to expensive for what you get.
I also get stuff at RRhamco at Flemington, but you might have to make several trips down there before you find what you want, and then you never know what condition it will be in till you see it.
You could also check Compton Metals, on the Summit Park road behind Compton Bowling Lanes on Old 50 on Bridgeport Hill.
I think Pittsburg Tube building is now a fibergalss pool manufacturer.
Not sure if they moved to a new building or just closed.

Ok guys thanks for all the input. My aunt works as a secretary at a fab shop and she got me the hookup. 20' of 1 3/4" DOM for $78. Its like $3.95 ft. Bout half of what they want for it online and i dont have to pay for shipping. I might call quality cause i need some work done. Ive got a set of dual wheels that i need the centers machined out and i need the lug bolt holes reamed for acorn style lug nuts. Theyre off of a newer chevy but they were free so i can afford to put a little money in them. I also found 2 of the old "coined" style ford dual wheels. Id liek to find 2 more then id be set. New they are like $150 ea.
