got fuel at kingmont (exit 133 off 79) yesterday for 3.59
last time i stopped at jane lew (exit 105) truck stop it was 3.52
gas is between 2.99 at jane lew to 3.05 grafton
it's totally ridiculous - we used to figure 25% for fuel cost for a truck now it's like 40% and is killing all the profit for trucking companies - the truck i drive gets approx 5 miles per gallon - i guess this is what happens when we start a war

$3.599/G at Ravenswood I-77 Marathon on 12/21.
Fortunately I only have to do that a couple of times per year. The rest of my fuel comes from the fryer.
I just paid 3.24 last night just across the border in Bluefield VA. We happen to like The El Patio Mexican Restaurant there so now I have two reasons to go to Bluefield.
When I'm in Beckley I'm like Shane...the Go-Mart on Harper Road gives you the nickle a gallon discount for cash. When I'm in Huntinton...it's worth the extra drive to Ashland to hit the Flying J...I think that the last time I was there diesel was 2.89 a gallon.

With the price of fuel , it makes me want to start using some off road fuel.....I sure could save some cash.
But I do not know what ill effects it would have on the truck and plus I guess I knew the price of diesel when I bought my truck , so there is no use in crying about the price of it
If the fellows from the "WV Department of Tax and Revenue, Criminal Investigation Division" happen to stop you and dip your tanks, the 5000 dollar fine makes off road very hard on your wallet.
There is only about a 30 cent difference in price most places.
16,666 gallons of fuel would make up for the fine at that rate. and another 533 would offset the court costs.
I average getting checked about 3 times a year.
