idle

My engine idles very rough and dies. The carburetor has been rebuilt and the timing is set. I cant drive my truck a 1984 f-150 300 inline 6 due to this problem any help will be greatly appreciated.

idle

Try checking for vaccum leaks. Around the EGR valve its self and its gasket areas. Also intake manifold gaskets are prone to leaks.
