VC gasket install needed, gauges IN LOOK TJ
#16
well crap, my VC is bent pretty bad. i had the aluminum bracket that holds powersteering pump crack this last spring, and allowed it to hit VC, thats when leak started. it bent my VC in the front where the bolt goes through. i hope i can fix it. $110 if not, but i found a used one thats off a burned truck. it may work. but would need painting. im trying to straighten it now, but doubt it will work.

i doubt you could get your truck 1600* post turbo with your current mods but if you do say good bye to your pistons.
i think i paid 60 for my vc from powerstrokeshop but i could be mistaking.
from my webshots description....
"this is the upper corner of passenger side valve cover(taken from firewall) and more damge down below here causing an oil leak even after an attempt at straightening. new vavle cover from powerstrokeshop.com $53.31. ih wanted $120.00 I GOT A LITTLE TO CARRIED AWAY WITH 2X4 ON D.P. FIREWALL MODIFICATION SLIPPED OFF OF BACK OF THE HEAD AND HIT THE VC. "
