Question F250 Front receiver hitch and FOG LIGHTS?!?!?

I would like to put a front receiver hitch on my 2007 F250 4X4 superduty. It seems that with all of the ones I have seen so far, if you put the front receiver on the truck, you have to leave off the stock fog lights. Has anyone had any luck installing the front receiver and then installing the stock fog lights onto the hitch? Or maybe some kind of aftermarket fog lights installed on the hitch or the bumper using the stock (optional) fog light wiring? Any help would be appreciated, especially if you have photos of the completed install!

Thanks,
DJ

You can remove one of the tow hooks and replace it with a receiver tube welded to a piece of stout plate. I have used this approach on several of my fleet since they are too heavy to push when we get them hung.

We use the front receivers as winch hard-points.

On the '08 we had to grind off hook off the spacer plate, but the install was much easier on the earlier models.

There is one manufacturer that makes a front hitch that will allow you to keep the factory foglights, but I can't remember what brand it is. Check around in the Super Duty forum, as it has been talked about in there a few times.

You could go big and get a replacement bumper/grille guard with a receiver hitch that will use your factory fog lights.
