1991 F250, Divorced NP205/ZF-5spd...Pics.

I'm in the middle of a 2wd to 4wd conversion on my 1991 F250 supercab (7.3L/E4OD). So far I have installed a kingpin style D60 front axle from an 89 F350 4x4 using the stock F350 front suspension with 2" of extra arch in the springs and a 3rd leaf added. I used 4" F350 lift blocks in the rear and a Rough Country steering stablizer kit up front. It took me and the old man a weekend to do the swap....A lot of work.

Next up I have a pair of 2wd diesel ZF-5spd's and a divorced Ford NP205 t-case to go in with two new Spicer 1350 series yokes for the 205. I want to take out the E4OD now while it works good, is worth some cash and to gain a little more power with the manual gearbox. I have a tilt column and pedals for the swap as well along with a single mass flywheel and all the required parts.

Does anyone here know of any sites or people I could contact that have put a divorced case in an 80-96 F-series???....I have a design in mind using 1/4" wall 2" square tubing but I would be interested in seeing other idea's.

Not sure, but definately twin stick that 205 before you put it in, you'll never regret it.

Yeah, I was rolling that thought around. I have 2 shifter's here and some stuff to make some linkages..I won't be offroading with this rig other than fetching firewood, it's my daily driver.

Regardless, I would definately do this even to a daily driver, it shifts so much smoother and is still useful, my .02

I know what you are saying, they do shift easier with the rails seperated. I've been thinking of building a cable setup^....Cable like a PTO throttle cable or etc.
