Carb ID on 67 F250

I have an F250 with the 300CID I6. I need to rebuild the carb, but I can't identify which one I have. There are no castings on it, no stickers, etc. It has one adjusting screw on the front passenger side. Is there a way I can ID this thing so I can buy the correct kit?

Thanks for the help.

Since your truck is a 67, the carb is probably a Carter YF 1 barrel. I've had four trucks, 68, 69, 81, 90 with the 300 I6 and the earlier three year models all had the Carter YF carb. If you've got other wheels, just take the carb off and take it to the parts store with you, or shoot a picture with a digital camera and take that with you. If your truck has manual choke, and it probably does, you have one of the easiest Carter carbs to rebuild...you won't have to fool with the auto choke and assembly. When you rebuild the carb, take you time and go slow...it's not a complicated process with this carb and it'll do wonders for you truck's performance.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I was relatively sure it was a Carter, but I couldn't be sure. It does have a manual choke (and a sticky float). I'm hoping it will be pretty easy to rebuild, and I am definitely looking forward to the improvement in driveability and reliability.

Well, it turned out to be a FoMoCo F1. Got the rebuild kit and am very happy with the results.
