powerstrokeshop.com is a good place to price Ford parts. Nost can be done on-line yourself or you can send an email to them.

Theres plenty of web sites that sell ford OEM parts but I have yet to find anything that sells under IH or Navistar. Do any of you guys know of any sites that sell IH parts? And or one that uses IH part numbers?

My local dealer is named "Krapohls" I call them "crapolas" Because their parts department needs a bullet to the head. They are the biggest dicks i've ever delt with for parts. Usually parts guys are helpfull, these guys actually dont say good day, or bye, anything they just hang up on you when the convo is over!

The trick to an autozone or advanced, whatever, is to have a friend that works there who actually knows WTF is going on. Like I do. I occasionally get a discount, and he knows EVERYTHING thats in the store. He's quite mechanical also, so he understands where the stuff goes, and all that. And is certified ASE Parts person. =)
SCORE!

I always try to talk to the same person every time i go into a parts store. Getting that repor with one person helps a bunch. I hate the dicks who dont treat you right, but others will.

I had one guy at the local parts store would never give me the farm discount when i went in. NEVER EVER. wouldn't unless the manager told him too. WTF is that? The manager knows who i am, and so does everyone else. And this guy gives me the shaft everytime.
gah!

Talking with them gets me discounts often also.
Got a discount on the last tool i baught at carquest. hehe. =)
needed another 4wheel drive socket, and he gave me 20% off. =)
