Daylight Running Lights 08

Can anyone advise how to disable / disconnect the DLR feature on an 08 Expedition? Thanks

Only the Dealer can do it with their special body computer programmer.

You are welcome. I want to get mine to work on my '07. I have the shop manual, and there is nothing but reprogramming possible. When I take it in for the 10Kmile check, I will ask how much it costs, and get the fog lamps fixed and the transmission reprogrammed, too. Almost as if we can't fix anything these days without the Dealer computer or at least paying the dealer.

Has anyone gotten these activated on a 2007? Is it really as easy as asking the dealer to activate them in the computer? Will my dealer think I am crazy (or charge me a ridiculous fee)?

I have an '08 Limited EL. I want to get the Daytime Running Lights activated. What do I need to tell the dealer? Is it really just a programming issue? No more DRL Module? The salesman was clueless, but said he would take care of me. I just need to tell them what to do.

Thanks,
Tom

Talk to the Service Manager if you want them activated.
