YFA F/B 1bbl Mixture Adjustment
I found a procedure to adjust the mixture on this carb that uses a dwell meter. It says, among other things, to hook up the dwell meter to the "diagnostic terminal" for the feedback solenoid and adjust the mixture screw for 25 degrees plus or minus 5 or so. My question is, where is this "diagnostic terminal"? I'm 99.9% sure it is not the one above the passenger side fender used to read stored codes etc. (self-test I/P and O/P). Is there a terminal especially for this measurement? I tries six ways from Sunday to connect the meter around the F/B solenoid connector but I never got a meeter reading that made me feel I was hooked up to the right place. Anyone have any idea?

YFA F/B 1bbl Mixture Adjustment
Hello. If your talking about the rich/lean mixture setting here is an easier way to do it and forget about that dwell crap. With the engine running and warmed up in park, turn in the mixture screw until the engine starts running rough then back out the screw until the engine runs smooth. Now your mixture is set. Greg.
