'93 2X4 to '95 4X4
OK guys, here's the question-
My 93 2X4 was rolled and totaled, but the drivetrain 300/M 5speed) is still sound. I just bought a '95 4X4 without a trans/transfer case (it has a bad 300 and the automatic and transfer case is gone). I'm going to put the 300/M5 speed out of the ' 93 2X4 into the '95 4X4 and run it as a 2WD until I locate a transfer case for it. What is it going to take to convert the 2WD transmission to accept the transfer case?

I live in Ontario, Canada, about 1 hour north of Toronto. The trans. and trans case are still in the truck and I don't feel like taking it out, but a buddy of mine will do it for you if you want to pay him. I figure if I got $300 for the whole trans/t/c , I'd be happy. He said there was a new clutch on it too. So you can have that and the pressure plate for yours. Maybe it would be worth taking the flywheel too. I will not need it.
The transfer case is good, but when the guy delivered me the truck, he lost 1st and 2nd gear about 3 miles from my place. The trans. seems to go into the slot for the gear, but the truck doesn't move. I don't know anything about the standard transmissions and don't care. My truck is an automatic. Maybe the transmission would be an easy fix with parts from yours?
