what stage injectors???

a guy i know at the local performance shop is trying to sell me a set of injectors brand new 100 hp to the ground, on a stock truck. $1000. a steal right? but what stage injectors do you think theyd be?

also i know a guy with a set of these in a 4x4 single cab flat bed 1997 powerstroke. said he didnt need a big oil pump. he says his puts out plenty with an H2E turbo, these injectors, edge ez, and a superchip on 90. sounds wild to me, but idk.

Those are stage 1s.... They can be had for 1800 new or like 800 rebuilt from beans.

You dont need a sd hpop but it helps

his is rough, but a nice 15 footer lol. it runs like a scalded dog. do injectors drop mileage much other than i'd be romping it more?

I get about the same milage as I did before. But I still get on it all the time.

i'd say they help alot in the mid-range dont they? my truck has a bit of hesitation in drive when going about 35 and punch it. i want to get rid of that.

I have a 5 speed but the first time I drove with them I was going on my test drive to get all the air out of lines and all I know is it was a bigger improvement than adding the chip with stock injectors. Its been a year now since I put them in and i'm glad I didnt go with the stage 2s. There are just too many other supporting mods that need to be done and with the 1s I can still tow but it gets a little hot.
