mpg of new diesel F150 won't be so good?

True enough (don't know if it will be $5-6.00, but with the mandated new low sulphur diesel I expect diesel to continue to be .30-.50 more than 87 octane unleaded gasoline). That's why I decided to get rid of my '97 Dodge Cummins. The only way I could justify the 1 ton Dodge was if I pulled my 20k trailer everyday, and I don't, not even for farm work. Truth be known, when I traded the Dodge I could have probably gotten by with a Ranger, but I fell in love with the F150 Lariat.

Chevy has active fuel management and a hybrid Tahoe and they both get repectable fuel mileage and still make good power. Dodge durago/Jeep Cherokee now offer the Mercedez Benz diesel. availible in the Dakota as well; 25 MPG!!!

FORD SIMPLY HAS TO OFFER A COMPETITIVE PRODUCT.

How do we know what the Hybrid Tahoe produces as far as mpg? I thought it still has yet to hit the market.

I'm not far behind you. My 2007 Superduty is bout to hit the choppping block, too. I drive 50k a year, and it's not saving squat anymore, and it rides like a lumber wagon.
