The CHP officer who wrote my ticket off said the reason is if they had to break the window to get me out, they couldn't because the tint film would hold the window together. I don't buy that.
Yeah, my Pops almost s*#t a brick when he found out I was going through the 1 year of background investigation to become a C.H.P. officer, he told me they don't receive the training they should (as other departments do anyway) to do some of the jobs they take on..."nothing more then AAA with a badge" as he put it. I got "pulled out" (LOL) when the background investigator said, "Either you are hiding something HUGE or you're a damn saint because your polygraph is inconclusive"
AKA: i was either lying about everything, including the control questions, or the poly was telling them the truth, i wasn't lying about anything.
hey, why lie? they'd find out later anyway.....then i started at a job that pays 75% more......so i just shred the initial interview letters that come in.

Tint in MD is required to be at least 35%, They can test it at any State police barracks between hours of 8am-10am on Thursdays only. Don't know why, it's just what they do.
