Which is the best and worth the money? I have a 1989 F-150 4.9L. Any suggestions would help. Comparing the Omni Magnum Team, and the MSD 6A ignition with the Blaster TFI Coil.

I bought the MSD coil for my truck, and noticed a little bit of a power increase. As for the entire MSD IGnition system, I'll get around to that when I get some "spare Cash". I have to replace a slave cylinder, clutch and pressure plate first.

1988 F-150 Custom to XLT Lariat conversion, 5.0 EFI (formerly 300 I6), 5-speed M5OD, 3.08 rear gears (will be upgraded to 3.55's), Summit headers, Flowmaster muffler W/ dual 3.5" tips 24" long.

Pioneer CD, AC, Tilt, Cruise, Mobile Radio, Lightbar (Force 4 LP6000), Federal Signal PA300 Siren W/100W Siren Speaker. Caution Customizing in progress, Watch for flying tools & Parts!

My brother dropped in the MSD coil/ignition combo (6a i think?) and all he noticed was a better idle and easier starts, this was in a `91 S10 Blazer with 4.3L V6

Take a look at the Crane Hi-6. It's a killer unit, costs slightly less than the MSD and there are no RPM pills to deal with. Great soft rev limiter, idiot-proof install, etc.

I have Jacobs on my I-6. They are guaranteed for life. There is no voltage drop across these plug wires as there is with other wires. There is no resistance drop so you get the entire voltage from the coil to the plugs. There is no radio interference. If any go bad Jacobs replaces them for free. They also recommended that I increase the plug gap and do not use platitum plugs.

Everything I've heard about MSD has been great. From a great product to great customer service after the purchase.
