Cool Totaled my bronco again... please help.

My blue oyster bronco has been totaled again... My original plan was to get a new fender and headlight but as it turns out a bunch of wiring was pushed into the alternater cooling fan and was cut all up and ive been told that once my wiring gets screwed like it is it is very hard to get it running right again. I have a couple options i know where i can get an 87 or so bII for cheap and while my engine and tranny are good do you think it would be to much trouble converting it over to fuel injection or should i just buy a cheapo beater car like a festiva or something to save on gas and insurence till i can fix my current bronco? any other ideas would be great. thank you.

P.S if i get a cheapo like a festiva im gonna mount my A/T's on it and cut the fenders cause i aint wasting these new tires.

No, just replace all the fusible links and relays, which you probably have to do anyways and replace the harness from a donor vehicle. I would just go to a junkyard and grab all the electrical I could.

Just make sure the harness that runs across the front and near the battery isn't rusted away from the donor vehicle, which it shouldn't be in your state.
