I saw a TSB on this issue about a month or so ago. It was stated that if you were still under the 36/36 warenty that it would be fixed. Some one else will post up more info.

They shouldn't have pointed out just the 05's-06's. After 5 years of wheeling my '00 F250 in the CA sand dunes, my windows are wrecked. It looks like I have some kind of ugly tint on it now...

Ruger, interested in the polish you mentioned. Have a name or a link for it?

what if its an 07? My windows are scratched all to crap and i hardly ever see mud. I have another truck that is 10 years old and not half as bad.

I have also been cleaning the weather striping out every time i roll down the window. Also when at the carwash i get in there close with the wand.

I have an 07 and the same thing has happened. I bought some glass polish from

http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/glass.htm

but have yet to try it. After I had the windows tinted it is not as noticeable but I am sure careful to make sure all 4 doors are clean all the time.

Here is the TSB that covers 05-07, I had my windows and weatherstripping replaced on my 05 while it was still under the standard warranty.

wow you guys are lucky, on the Mustang this problem can only be solved by adding some moleskin to the weatherstrip so it will not scratch tint, but only on the 05-07, ford does not have a TSB for this since they do not like tint on the windows. I had to do it on my stang and it was not too bad, just google Auto Moleskin

I believe it was made by Mothers, I'll check when I go home today.

You know that non-stick spray used on frying pans (like PAM).... I wonder if that sprayed occasionally to the weather stripping would help keep sand/dirt from embedding....

This problem is scratches on the outside of the windows, not the inside so it wouldn't matter if the windows are tinted or not.
