39$ebay chip

whats the deal on the chips on ebay for 39$?worth a crap?or just a way to get your money?

If it's the one I think it is, it's just a resistor that you install at the Engine Coolant Sensor that makes the computer think that the engine isn't quite up to operating temperature yet and so will allow more timing advance. I belive you can get them at an electronics supply house for about a buck. Probably still not worth it in terms of other potential problems it can create...

Paying $39 for a 10 cent resister, 2 wires and a plastic case, all in order to over-fuel the vehicle, watch mileage go down and possibly cause piston wash.... definitely not something you want to do!
