Thumbs up

WOW man that's AWESOME I've been thinking about doing that same thing kind of? I was going to use the whole front IFS part and just stick 2x4 tubular steel in the original "unibody" frame stubs and come off and back and then weld the IRS part in? You did an excellent job!! It just looks a little high to me? Maybe it's since it ain't got any weight on it yet? Take more pics as you go along!!! We love pics!!! Keep up the good work!!!

We think it will be the same ride height of the original 48 F-1. It is getting lower as we add more parts back on. We had it running and drove it for about 5 miles with only the cab and seats and everything worked like it should. We are not looking to get a low rider but want it to look original. The engine and transmission dropped it a lot. The bed also dropped it some. All the front end parts and rear bumper, lights and wood flooring should get us about there. We can also cut the springs if we need to. Thanks for listening LS.

May be an optical illusion, but it looks like a really long wheelbase for an F-1? Did you make a totally custom frame except for the front and rear horns? It looks nice!

We started with an F-3 and cut the frame down to the F-1 wheel base. I think it was 114 inchs. We cut all the cross members out and welded new ones in. We boxed the frame sandblasted primed and painted it. We had the cab, front parts and bed on and they are right. It get a lot shorter looking as you add parts. Thanks for asking. LS.
