Funky turn signals

Well,a couple weeks ago I discovered my turn sigals quit working. The 4 ways would work, all but the front drivers side so thought maybe the bulb burned out,and/or bad flasher.Could NOT figure out how to get to the #$%^& bulb. I want to publicly thank the guy that posted the link to the online owners manual as I didn't get one with the truck.Wish I knew his name, saved me many headaches. Here's the link,(2000 model)BTW...
https://web.msslib.dealerconnection....000c5880360d47
Anyway, before replacing the bulb I noticed if the steering wheel was tilted all the way up,the blinkers work perfectly. So,I took the plastic cover off of the steering column, wiggled stuff around, poked and prodded, now they work.
Wish I knew what I did to fix them as I'm sure it will come back.

the reason that they are working after you jiggled the wires is that you created the connection again. perhaps when the wheel is down, it is straining the wires and pulling them out. If you get in there again, try making sure everything is snug.

Looks like the website forwarding foo can't handle an https:// link. If you edit the resulting link to remove the http://, then it will work (I think you also have to insert a colon after https).

Careful, tho, this might not be the right manual for your excursion.

I find it good to keep a pdf copy of my vehicle manuals handy on my laptop.
