Catalytic converts going out already?
I have been noticing a faint rotten egg smell from my exhaust lately. And I think its starting to get worse. Today I stuck my head down my the tips and I could realy smell it from down there. My question is can my cats already be going out at only 30k miles? O and the check engine light isnt on.

We had to get one replaced on an 05 with 45k on it about a month ago. It was fixed under the emissions warranty.
Unless the Ford warranty is expired it would of transfered over to you from the original owner. It starts from the day of the original purchase. You can get somebody to run you an oasis and they will tell you the exact day it runs out. I think the emissions equipment warranty is 5/50k though.

Rotten egg smell is usually not the result of catalytic converters or air/fuel ratio. Rich air/fuel causes different smell than rotten eggs. Rotten egg smell is usually the result of high sulfer content in the fuel or its additives. It burned and is released as hydrogen-sulfide.
Run the tank down as dry as you dare and start filling up at different stations. If this doesn't resolve it within a couple of tanks then its likely the high sulfer content of the fuel you've been using has ruined the catalytic converters. You'll then need to replace them as well as switch to a different fuel source.

I highly doubt that your cats are ruined, even if after swicthing stations the smell persists give it time to burn off the hydrogen sulfide that is coating the inside of the pipes.
