300-6 Rocker arm adjustment

I am doing a little bit of engine work to the 300-6 in my girlfreinds 82 bronco and was looking for a little advice on how the rocker arms are supposed to be adjusted. I have looked through a chiltons manual which told me next to nothing and my haynes manual is for 73-79 trucks so I do not know if would be correct for the specific year. I was just wondering if there is a torque specification or some other method that works better. I don't have much experience with these engines but it seems pretty straight forward. Thanks for any info, Derick

People who say it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

There's a recent post in the ~'67 to '79 message forum. Check it out. Labeled "300-6 valve train noise."
