Possible GEM failure?

Possible GEM failure?
My 2000 F350 PSD started out with engine temp. and low fuel idiot lights staying on all the time, then all gauges went dead. Now truck will start normally but transmission is "locked" in park, with ABS light on. I have checked and cleaned all of the grounds, fuses, inside and under the hood, including fuse links at the solenoid. Any advice? I'm stumped!

I forgot to say welcome to FTE. I've got a stick shift so I haven't paid enough attention to the auto transmissions. If your shift lever won't move I'd start by checking the switch on the brake pedal. The one that won't let you shift out of park unless your foot is on the brake. I don't think your dash lights are related to your stuck shift lever. We'll start with the lever and move on from there. I'm sure someone else will chime in with other opinions soon.

I agree with F350-6. The "stuck in park" problem sounds like a brake pedal switch. They aren't expensive and can even be bought at Auto Zone and places like that. To get it out of park, turn the switch on without cranking it, shift the truck into neutral and then start it. Do you have any way to pull the codes? Where do you live, maybe someone with Autoenginuity lives close and can scan it for you?

Thanks for the good info. I was able to get the trailer off of my truck so I can get it in the barn.
The reason I don't think I have a brake switch problem is that all of the symptoms came on a once, like an electrical fault or bad ground. I will check the switch but I'm afraid there is either an open circuit or bad module. All of the fuses check good but I haven't figured out how to get to the inside of the fude panel.
I have a super chip code reader and the only code it showed is for the Module KAM when I had the batteries disconnected.

1) If you have some sort of electrical short you probably won't see any code unless it is the KAM error.
2) I don't think dash lights and a stuck shift lever will be caused by the same short. I would start by playing with the brake pedal position switch. Even unplug it and if necessary trick it into thinking the pedal is pushed in.
3) The fuse panel can be removed by unscrewing the 4 (I belive) 10mm bolts. The back of the fuse panel is sealed and the wiring harnesses just plug into the back. You can unplug a harness and check for continuity on the fused side, and voltage on the other, but there will be some trial and error with this approach unless you have a wiring schematic of the fuse panel and plugs.

Some progress made.
Well I went back and rechecked fuses under the dash, I don't know how but I missed a blown fuse which controlled the brake light( shift lock) problem. Now I am back where I started originally, 15 amp fuse locations 16 and 20 in the dash fuse panel are dead. No power on source or load side. When I get in tonight I will try to figure out where the source for those two circuits is located. I do have a shematic but it is a little confusing when trying to trace between the battery junction box and the fuse panel. I also re-checked all fuses in the battery junction box under the hood. Everything there is hot on both sides.
Thanks for your help.
