Vehicle Exhaust being stolen!!!
#2
Man what will they steal next. I know around my area they have stolen radiators from irrigation motors an sell them because off the copper in them. Would insurance cover the cost off a new one. That sucks. Platinum must be worht a bunch. I figured it out I dont like catyltic converters any way. Ill just hack mine off an say it was stolen. I wonder if I ciould get away with it. It might give Jake some ideas. His hemi would even be louder. Well if you start your car up an its all off a sudden loud. Damn thieves.

Ha....my HEMI doesn't need to be any louder. I like it just the way it is. The gf will probably think it's too loud but oh well. She was scared to drive the old one cause it was too loud.......I thought it was just right. She's asked to drive this one already.......it was the first day I had it so that didn't happen!!

Hahaha.....well you have an F-150 with a 4.6 so you know what that's all about. If it was all her way I'd be in a Chevy........YIKES!!! As far as knowing what's fast.....she thinks her dad's 1500 with a 5.3 will beat my HEMI....while it does have 4.10's to help it out, I've never heard of a stock pickup beating my brother's 03 reg cab.....I'm not too worried

Haha....I told my oldest brother the same thing when he got his first Dodge. I really have nothing against them. The old body style was famous for tranny troubles. My second oldest brother had a '98 that he bought with 70,000 mi to drive to work. He just sold it a few weeks ago with 100,000 mi. The only thing he ever did to it was change the fuel pump (after it left him on the side of the highway)........Now give me a Cummins and a 6sp......LOOK OUT!!!

I tell you one thing I drove one off them newer style 150s the other day an they would put most trucks to shame. Rode so smooth. Makes any truck including mine look bad. An the power on that thing was pretty incredible. So Jake if that Dodge doesnt satisfy you. Look at another 150 you wont be dissappointed. You know what I would make a good car salesman I think. I just had to try.

Yeah, I like the new F-150's too. With the way the diesel prices are, I've entertained the thought of trading both trucks in for a new F-150. But I just love driving that SD, and red still runs pretty good. Still getting around 18 mpg in the summer, and around 15 now. I really like the center console on the new ones, with the gear shift in it!

The 500 has been a great car. I've got 30K on it already with all the commuting I was doing until November. It is real comfortable and you don't sit low to the ground like some sedans. The wife will probably start using it to commute up to Sioux Falls, if she can lower her standards to drive a Ford. That stupid Lexus is lucky to get 20mpg on the highway. The 500 consistently gets in the upper 20's on the highway... had a tail wind coming home from Colorado and I got 33mpg at 75. That was nice.
No major warranty issues, just lost one of the drip rail/trim pieces from the roof when I went to Colorado. The dealer gave me no hassle replacing it under warranty. Also had a recall on the rear brake pads/rotors. Mine were fine till about 20K, once again, they replaced them without any issue.
