rookies

here is a good rookie question. i'm going to change my heater core on a 78 f-150 and i'm wondering if i have to drain some fluid off first? how long should this take i heard about 45 minutes and thats taking your time.

Yes drain off fluid. It will take a upto 2 hrs depending on your experiance. I did 2 79s and the first took about 2hrs and the second 30 min. It was a few years ago I did them so I cant really give any tips. Good luck.
