Arrow new stator w/TFI - is it required?

I just replaced my TFI module. A friend mentioned that I should replace the stator inside of the distributor - is that true?

Does anyone have a repair procedure online?

There is a troubleshooting procedure in the technical information thread at the start of
this forum. The stator could be a next step in troubleshooting if the TFI does not
correct your problem. It shouldn't be necessary to replace the stator because the TFI
was replaced.

No, not unless you still have a problem and if you go that route, you should replace the whole unit, it is a lot easier to replace it that way and avoids problems from a worn distributor causing ignition problems.
