archangel,
will generic brandy work? Also, where's the choke on my truck?

Then hang on to the remainder of the brandy because you will need it later.

And if the brandy is of a superior enough quality, you wont even need spark plugs!
Plug them holes and save even more money!

Verified 19 mpg city taking off slow as hell the shutting down at red lights, and with the radiator grill blocked flush, no bed cover, "drag shoot" mirrors on I get 24 mpg at 50 to 55 mph on the freeway empty!
However, with a bed cover, no mirrors and Hydroxy
Well I finally finished building my first creation.....and I'm saddened at the moment because it does not seem to work. I've also been posting on another similar thread but I'm not sure if you guys have read it and I would definitely like to have from Parkland on his thoughts about this.......if he has any............
After getting everything connected properly to my truck battery for testing this is what it produced............
I reconnected all the wires and wired the amp meter properly and installed a 30amp fuse inline at the battery and started playing. First I tried no baking soda and I was drawing around 10amp so I added 1tps of baking soda and the meter increased to around 15, so I added one more and my amp meter was just over the 20amp mark on a 20amp meter. Very quickly the water started to look like it does on the pic......yucky and the foam began rising slowly to the top! I was about 2-3 inches below the top when I started. Also for as many little bubble and the occasional big bubbles that were produced I didn't seem to get anything out the hose. I'm really at a loss at the moment and I'm not sure what to try next. But it really looks like my all-thread rod us busted..........any thoughts on this? Thanks and I hope it's not against any rule to have posted similar info in two different threads.

My water used to get like that from the coat hanger rods, but depending on the metal content, and any coating on the steel, you could end up with a nasty soup....
Run it for a couple hours on a charger or something, clean the water, then again. If the water is always crappy like that, you may need different rods.
Looks good though, no all unlike my next one is gonna be.
If the rods are coated with a protective coating, paint, or anything there will be little floaties in the water. Run the unit on a charger or something and you might "burn off" the coating crap off the rods.
Put some of that goup on a sheet of white paper and examine it, try to describe what its composed of.

Thank You guys.....that is incuraging! The rods are from Lowe's "Steel Works" Allthread-Plated 5/16"-18x3'-0" I wanted to try cheap rods @ less than $3.00 each that gave me my 12 - 18" pieces for less than $18.00 where that $18.00 would probably just cover 1 in 304 or 316ss. I didn't even think about oil or the coating......my charger is only rated for 8amp and the first time I connected it, it was to the charger and it pegged the meter and only ran for about 30sec before it shut itself off. I'll see if my neighbor has a larger one I can use to run for a while. Man I really hope that works.....I've been really eager to try this baby out in my truck. Just so you know, I used 3" pvc and it holds just over 1gallon of water and it fits perfectly between my grill and my radiator.....
Oh and the rods did not get hot at all.....I could touch them with no noticeable heat. (sticking out the end)

Well I got to play again this afternoon.......it has run for about an hour with no baking soda. It seems that most of the foam is gone, but the water still turns green, most likely because of the metal. I flushed it really well and as you can see in the pic, the - rods are a grey color and the + rods are a brownish color.
So then I can a couple of tests w/ a 1.89l (2 quart) plastic bottle full of water upside down with the tube in it to see how fast it displaced the water. With 1tsp of bs it took 15min running @ 15amps. With 2tsp of bs it took 10min to fill running @ 20amps. Not as good of results as I was hoping but I was also using regular tap water as I went through 3gal of Culligan water the other day. I'm going to try again Sat or Sun the same test w/ our bottled water from Culligan. Hopefully I'll get better results. How much was it again a minute we need to make improvements in fuel mileage? I do not think I'm even close...............

If you remove the grill, there is a ton of room right in front of the radiator. The bottom section will be right about the bumper level and the top will be just below the trim piece at the top of the grill. I'm hoping that will also help keep it cool. Once I get the gas production up to speed, I will mount it and post some more pics........

A couple of us in this thread are making different units....could some of you guys who have played with this take a look here too? It would be nice to combine these threads, but I think it would be too hard, they both are pretty big. But rather than post everything in both threads maybe we/you could watch both and follow along as I do. There are very knowledgeable minds in both thread, it just would be nice to combine them.......just my 2 cents!

Looking good, remember, you'r not supposed to need a whack of gas, all it takes is apparently very little, around 10 amps of draw should be around the mark.
The big tractor trailer rigs hydrogen systems apparently use 20-30 amps ***apparently***, so 10 sounds right to me for a small truck.
(Who knows? :/ )
Not using my bucket, toast quite a while ago, new system in the works (Actually the generator looks similar to twtcad's, exept mine has a small finned cooler, and the gas bubbles travel in a liquid stream to a resevoir under the hood. Also, looks like my generator is a little bigger( about 4 ft long, 8 rods) Also my rods are internally supported and stick out of 1 end, so you can un-screw the entire assembly.
Generator is going under truck, and a water pump will circulate the gassy water through the cooler and into the resevoir which will also be linked to the air intake.
You cant notice a different running sound, but if you inject a large amount of gas, you can make the truck sound like a sled puller. If you have a large resevoir of hydrogen, and you meter it nicely to the intake, and give WOT, the engine really kicks out some HP!!!
I wont do it anymore, because of the scary 1-2 shift. (Tranny does NOT like the power i think...)
The boost guage jumps so fast that we originally suspected a manifold explosion. Will pin the boost guage needle againt the stop pin, and burn rubber.

Parkland.....did you ever measure your rate of gas, 1 liter per minute or what ever it was? Have you tested your rod setup yet and are you using ss rods? My last test started at 13amps and dropped to 5amps very quickly. The only thing I can assume with the fast amperage drop is the rods are too corroded.......
