I was lookin on the lot the other day and noticed they hand down about 2" lower.
Anyone else notice this? Anyone know why?

yes it was a change in the job 2 builds. I heard it is supposed to help with air flow and fuel economy. yet to be determined. there may be other reasons as well.

it is supposed to increase gas mileage, i like it but when you think about offroading would suck since it really decreases you approach angle

Just like the others have mentioned, it is supposed to increase the fuel mileage about 1 mpg.

For those who are curious, the part number is 8C3Z-17626-B and the list is just over $100.

new air dams are much more prominent

I ordered one for my truck yesterday. I saw them on the new Job2 trucks on the lot. They are pretty large. If it helps with mileage at the max of 1 mpg, then it will help over time.

The job 1 is held on w/ 4 screws and about 6 plastic clips. The Job 2 replaces the plastic clips for more screws. Very simple install.

i agree i would end up taking it off because i need that space for aproach angle when offroading and do not want to mess it up but since it is held on with screws i would keep it on for normal driving and take it off for offroading

It takes away from the sweet ride height of these rigs. It makes the front end look artificially lower.
